I started the carrer mode, launching probes and landers like crazy, and doing reseacrhs and stuff, happy when I complete ALL the first missions, then I researched the Mobile chasis to build a little rover, when I realize I dont have no way to earn money to launch it:/so, is there a way to 'cheat' or edit the mission to have engouh to lauch a rover mission?is funny because I have 1060K and I need at least 1090k LOLso, I only want that little money I dont usually 'cheat' like this but. I dont want to start again:s. Nope thats the point of it. Working out the tasks needed to do each stage of the game. As for launching rovers, there should be a research section about the various type of craft in the research strings. Most of them have a link to click on in the left column and that highlights what needs to be researched first of all to achieve your goals. The point is to free up more missions, quick hint here, have a good smell at mars first after youve had a look round with the probes.

Opens a load of new missions and oportunities. Originally posted by:Don't jump from propes to rovers, hit those small landers up, best thing about the small landers is usually you can use them on 2 or more missions saving you money on having to launch a new one.
I did the same, but with rovers. Right after probes, I researched small rover, thermal generator as power source, small antenna and EAS. If I'm not mistaken, the first 'lander' mission were to analyze with EAS, take photos and explorer. And in most cases it was 2-3 mission per map. The only downside was, I did them all with one rover till I needed new equipment.
After that I directly developed the mid rovers and did the same, always one rover per map. Took me some time but in the end I had way more money that I would ever need:DHowever this was all on my second try, the first time around I had no money for the big rovers after researching them.
